The Econova Academy
Combustion technology is a demanding science.
Our seminars combine theory and practice in small groups (4-10 people). Through personal supervision and laboratory exercises on real burners, we enable hands-on learning. The aim is to ensure safe handling of recuperative burners. The offer is aimed at sales, project management, operators, commissioning engineers and service technicians.
Basics of combustion technology
The basic course “Fundamentals of Combustion Technology” is aimed at beginners and provides basic knowledge about combustion.
Topics include the definition of combustion, combustion calculation, different fuels, air number, flame formation and types, flame temperature and pollutants produced.
Other topics include the flow of gas and air, flame monitoring and the EN 746-2 standard.
Each participant will receive a confirmation of participation.

Recuperative burners – field of application and objectives
The training course “Recuperative burners - field of application and objectives” is aimed at advanced users with burner experience.
It covers the design and function of recuperative burners, their areas of application, efficiency benefits, firing types (open/indirect), pollutant formation and special technical features.
The aim is to deepen the understanding of energy-efficient and low-emission burner systems.
Each participant will receive a confirmation of participation.

Free topics
In the “Free Topics” seminar, experienced professionals can bring in individual questions and special requests.
The topics must be submitted 14 days in advance with the registration.
If there are several requests, similar topics will be bundled together.
Examples include the setting of burners with equal pressure regulators, optimum burner settings, the interaction between fan and consumer, interpretation of EN 746-2 and options for NOₓ reduction.
Each participant will receive a confirmation of participation.
